Rasul and Qodrat had been classmates and close friends. Qodrat became a thief, while Rasul turned into a drug addict. Qodrat locates Rasul through the latter’s father and persuades Rasul to let him hide in his house. The police discover Qodrat’s hiding place and he, thinking Rasul betrayed him to the police, shoots him. However, when he realizes that Rasul is innocent, he gives himself up to the police. Noted primarily for its political content.
